Sos not ready message

More issues with my brand new car. Anyone have experience with the "sos not ready" message? I did a Google search but only thing I could find was from early 2015 with people saying it took weeks to fix because had to order and replace module in car

2017 E300
Yeah, I had the same issue on my 2017 E300, that along with about 12 others.

It's most likely because you declined the additional mbrace service. If not, you probably need to active the service.

It's more than just having the app installed and connected. You'll also have to call the mbrace people. You can hit the button in the car or I believe you can also from the app. IMO, the SOS feature should work regardless of the other services that you opt-in for, however I also found that it wasn't the case.
