Turn cameras on while driving

I saw a BMW in NYC that had the overhead camera view up on his display while driving.
How do I do that on my e300?

you could always refer to the MANUAL......whether it's online on in your car is up to you

In my current E550, it has the 360 Surround View Camera.

I programmed one of the Favorite buttons to display the Surround View on the center dash LED screen. It can be selected to view front, rear, sides, birds-view, etc.

I guess for safety/legal/liability reasons, Mercedes only allows the view to display in slow speed driving. I forgot the speed limit, somewhere up to 10-15mph.

My guess is the new E300 will be similar.

I observed it on the BMW while in traffic in New York. Traffic in New York City is very dense, with cars very close to one another and everybody changes lanes constantly. It (the overhead camera view) helps me park in my difficult space , it seemed to be useful for this BMW driver as well.
