Good Salesperson at MB of South Bay, Torrance
Can anyone suggest a good salesperson to work with at Mercedes Benz of South Bay in Torrance? The person I used to use is no longer there, and I don't want to walk in and get hooked up with a random salesperson.
If you can recommend someone there, please also tell me why you recommend them.
Thanks!

Call the store and ask for a sales manager. Tell them your salesperson is no longer there and that you don't want to get stuck with a green-pea who is going to waste your time and theirs. They'll usually give you the most senior person. Another alternative: call your service advisor and ask him which salesperson they would recommend.

I never had good experience with South Bay Mercedes. If you are willing to go further to Long Beach Mercedes, I have someone to recommend. Straight deal no BS.
After all you don't get any perks from buying local, unlike South Bay BMW where you can get free car wash etc.

I talked to him, very straight forward nice guy but could not beat my deal. Dont call Newport beach, they will waste your time wont give numbers over the phone and expect you to drive 100 miles to get numbers.

Laguna Niguel is the largest Benz dealer in SoCal and I got a pretty awsome deal there. PM me if anyone wants to deal with him.

Yes they wanted a commitment to buy that day BEFORE giving a price. No thanks and I walked.

I purchased my c63 at South Bay. Right after buying the car, the salesperson (who I won't name), backed the car into the yellow pole in the service center platform. The rear bumper crushed, and he said "sorry" and I had to wait a week for it to be repainted. I went again (stupid me) to go buy a car and had the worst sales experience with a different salesperson. Go to WI Simonson instead and look for someone named Steve and/or Marc Rose. I'm a no bull**** guy but South Bay MB has been horrible for me. Avoid DTLA and South Bay MB.

I had the best car-buying exigence of my life at South Bay this past November, and I've been buying new cars for almost 50 years. Salesperson i dealt with was Emily Anderson, who does "Internet Sales and Leasing" according to her business card. I found Emily to be a lot brighter, more direct, and seemingly more honest than the snakes I've dealt with I the past.
I saw the type and color of car I wanted in the showroom, then found several like it on SB's website, then got the pricing on a few from Emily via e-mail. I picked the one I wanted (2018 E400 Coupe in Lunar Blue with P2 and others goodies), went in for a test drive with her on November 3 and decided to buy the car. Best price on the cars I considered was SB's end of the month sale (October), and although that deal disappeared as of November 1, Emily was able to get it for me because of our e-mail exchanges. No haggling, and it was an excellent deal. The only slightly objectionable part of the transaction was, as usual, the bull**** from the finance guy, who said he was required to read all of their crappy add-ons to me even though I said I was not interested in any of them and was paying cash — that took an extra 45 minutes. BTW, I got a better deal on my trade-in than I was offered by Car Max the same day.

2018 Accord Touring
One poster had a bad experience with Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach.
I've ordered/bought 3 MB from Trevor Wrightman at FJ. Since 2014. Always pleased.
In the eighty odd cars I've bought over a lifetime: I found Trevor someone I've come to trust and would not hesitate to use him again.
Never a hard-sell. Never pressure. Always answered my questions. Very knowledgeable on product.
Now, I never called on the phone and asked; what is your best price? But I grind like crazy when I'm ready to purchase and feel I've made some good deals for both me and helping friends.
