Active Lane Keeping Assistance

I have a 2017 E300 P3 and was curious about the differences between Adaptive and Standard modes. The owners manual does not detail how these settings differ. I only use the Drive Pilot and Lane Assist on divided highways where it works quite well and have been unable to tell the difference between the settings. Regardless, there has to be some difference between the two. Adaptive is the default selection so I must assume that's the "better".

I believe adaptive varies the leeway depending on the dynamic setting. I keep the vibration OFF its very annoying unless you are on the highway. I hate it on 2 lane roads.

Okay thanks. I wondered if the Adaptive would preform the lane correcting braking to pull you back into your lane. Where the Standard would just vibrate the wheel.

I assumed with adaptive, that it would learn your lane change styles so that it doesn't give a false vibration.

Thank you konig, I completely missed that when I was reading the owners manual.
