The title says it. Is there a way to start the car without the Keyless GO? You could remove the button on older models and inser the key... can you do this on the W213 and how?

Yes. There is a small cubby in the ashtray area where you put your key to start the engine if keyless go fails. Its in the manual. There is no turning involved. My guess is that the key has a magnitic chip and the chip reader is there. In honda vehicles the reader is in the start button itself but this new mb system places it in the console.
