2017 E300 Automatic Mirror Folding Function
Does anyone know if the outside mirrors are supposed to fold back (assuming the applicable feature is activated) when the engine is shut off or does this only happen when the button on driver's side door is pushed. Operator's Manual isn't clear on this subject.

Agreed. They fold upon locking the car.......which is a good indicator that car is locked as you walk away.

Thanks Jeff...that is the way they do in fact work...Operator's Manual makes no mention of having to lock the car to get them to fold...Thank you...John
