But if I use Bluetooth then I can’t have the phone connected. I’d like to be able to leave the iPod in the car and just press play when I drive off. This works fine in our BMWs.

Tried this again. Used a BlackBerry with a hotspot and this time an iPad using the center console USB port. Selected the SiriusXM app on the iPad and it begin to play. I made a call on the phone and the music paused and then restarted when the phone call stopped. Each songs title and info showed on the screen. Was it the difference between and iPad and an iPod? Or did something else happen?
