It’s nice to know that the wireless charger can be used with the CarPlay2Air adapter (although I haven’t personally confirmed it).
As mentioned in the review, from Apple’s viewpoint, this is an unsupported device. And any future iPhone software update can brick this device. However, I’m hopeful that CarPlay2Air will continue to release updates.
If I were to purchase this device, I wouldn’t update my iPhone to the latest software until CarPlay2Air (or users) confirmed that it still works. I wouldn’t mind waiting 3-5 months as they update the device before I update my phone. Of course, critical iPhone security updates are another thing.
I look forward to testing this out myself.

My experience with Carlinkit has been a positive one and it is truly Plug and Play. I have used it on a Mazda CX-5, Hyundai I20N and Alpine aftermarket head unit and it works well on all. Takes about 20-30 seconds to boot up (faster on the newer car) and then works fine. So convenient!

Do customers experience a slight delay in input response and/or GPS navigation with your product? I had a very very similar looking device with the same blue carbon look (different brand on the front) but the response was so delayed, it was basically not usable. My Waze was about 100ft delayed and music would switch about 1 second after I hit Next.

Carlinkit 4.0 are late in releasing it because of the optimizations we were adding to theirs for stability etc. We rarely receive feedback from customers that maps are delayed by using carlinkit 4.0.
