Mercedes-Benz has a 5 star safety rating.
I'd rather crash in a Mercedes than any other make.
Their safety systems are superior.
With MB, complain about pretty much anything and a tall, blonde guy, with a crew cut, in a white lab coat comes out and says something like: "Zerr kut nat bee anyzing vrong mit dis uber auto frum zee Faterland!! YOU muz be doing sumsing vrong!!" Then he turns to two guys in black trench coats and he points at me and says "Take him! Take him!!"

Citing within the rules racetrack behavior has no place in this discussion. One doesn't voluntarily quit racing until the checkered flag or they are red or black flagged. When competing, one should continue as long as one is capable of doing so.
Between the recalls - I'm waiting for a recall notice to arrive by mail before the dealer will correct the issue, BTW - and a hosts of minor issues, my car has been left at shop for 7 times since July 2016. It still has issues with chattering wipers, COMAND system rebooting at random, rough up/down shifting from D3, along with the mentioned recall. The service department could not duplicate the issues, so I'm recording them and will send the SA the videos before making the next appointment.

There is no basis to posit that a business organization has feelings. They don't. All business's prime directive is to maximize profits. Some companies like MB operate ethically while others like VW/Audi/Porsche do not.
Why do you bother to post here?
