Hi All,

Does anybody know why Mercedes is not offering multi zone climate control temperature settings in 2017 E-Class Sedan? The sales person and the sales manager did not have a good answer other than that dual zone is sufficient.

In previous year models Mercedes offered it on E-Class and still offer it on lot of other current 2017 models. My current 2012 E550 4matic has temperature settings that rear passengers can set. Looks like Mercedes is only offering dual zone climate control and I look at it as a step backward for the latest generation.

Any insight will be appreciated.

 

I see via videos it seems to be offered in Euro form but not USA

 

3 zone climate control offered as option in Australia.

 

Not sure about the sedan, the 2018 wagon DOG shows rear climate control as an option.

 

Same with the 2018 E300 Sedan. Looks like only the 2017 model didn't get it.
