Hey all,

I'm currently looking into buying an MY18 E400 wagon. I'm going for P3, AMG-Line with night package, airmatic, etc.

My main question is the 18" or 19" wheels with the air suspension. I've driven the car with the 18's several times and noticed it was very nice, but I haven't gotten the car off the freeway to test the handling. I'm wondering how improved the turn-in on the 19's is along with impact on the ride.

My plan is to replace the stock wheels with aftermarket (and put the stock tires on them) and then put snow tires on the stock wheels for the winter so I have two sets. This is why I would rather get the right size stock wheels at the start.

Thoughts, everyone?

 

I also would very much like recommendations on good forged (but reasonably priced) wheels if anyone has them.
