mbrace - Subscribe or no?

I went to activate my "complimentary" six-month mbrace subscription only to see that they require a credit card and will bill me automatically thereafter. Last thing I need is yet another monthly subscription bill (cell, cable, landline, netflix, biz line, internet svc, google storage, icloud storage -- you get the picture).

Here's my question: What exactly do I need this for? In other words, what features won't work if I don't subscribe to it? And what is the annual charge after the six months are up?

Thanks!

It gives you the hotspot and other useless features...activate it, and ask the end date. Mark your calendar to call in to cancel.

I didn't activate my free trials until month 4, and they give you the full 6 month trial so I got 10 months

Looking to deactivate it. Pricing is high and also confusing. They have too many levels of packages

I find mbrace very useful. There are 2 levels. We selected the first level. If you have a question about how anything works, you can push a button and speak to a technical representative who will answer your question and assist.
My wife and I are in our 7th decade, and find the instruction very beneficial. If, on the other hand, you are technical it is probably not needed.
Another feather is if you lock yourself out of the car, you can call mbrace and they will unlock the car for you. Both my wife and I have loaded the back of our wagon with the keys inside.
Level 2 is for people who want help with route finding, and choosing restaurants, motels, etc.

Or you can post nicely on MBWorld and get a reply for free .
