My dealer messed up my order
my car finally arrived and to my surprise my car didn't have the multibeam headlightsas i ordered. It has the regular LEDs. They offered me extended warranty as a compensation but thats about it. Is it possible to retrofit it in the future ? I really waited for a long time and don't want to wait for a second order. What you guys think ? should I push them for something more than an extended warranty

I would absolutely, positively not accept the car. Tell them to order you a properly optioned car and to put your order at the top of their list. This happens WAY too often. My bet is that there was a supply problem with the headlights and the dealer told them to build the car without them, instead of delaying the order, WITHOUT asking you. They figured you would just let it slide. Don't take the car!

That would probably determine where the recourse would start, and be limited to.

You have to change way too much to install multibeam by yourself. LEDs, sensors, even windshield are to be changed. Total cost is around 8000 USD if order everything through dealer in Russia, I doubt it will be several times less in US, so that's the price of such mistake.

Just my two cents: I'd say accept the extended warranty and move on. Life is too short and you just took delivery of a fantastic car. In the grand scheme of things just how important are the multibeams anyway?

You, sir, must be a "glass half full" kind of guy and I am envious. Being a "half glass empty" type myself, there is no way I would settle for less than what I ordered.

Gorgeous! I'm getting the same interior combination, although in '18 the center console is also in wood. Would love to see more interior photos in daylight.

That would be perfect having the center console in wood. I guess if it's going to drive me crazy enough I may try to swap it with the wood trim, i think i saw a thread doing the swap. And will sure do I'll snap a couple of pics when it's sunny

Ask the dealer to swap the center console out for you since you didn't get what you ordered. It doesn't hurt to ask, even after the fact. Maybe they can give you a big discount on the part.
