was it hard to install the grill ? I have a 2017 as well with the AMG package but love the diamond grill. I am in the market to buy one from Amazon as well but I am having a hard to figuring out how to take the front bumper off and installing the grill ? do you have any steps ?
Difficult is a relative question. I'm a DIY'er and for me, it was too difficult... so I had my local body shop do it. It took him 1.5 hrs. Others with more experience may find it easy.

I bought one from eBay $129 it fit and looks like oem. Was as good of quality as the factory grill. The bumper does need to come off. There are diy videos on YouTube.
It took me about three hours to finish the job.
