Updates for glitches and dash graphics?
So while I wait on our ordered car (E300 with P3) I have been thumbing through the threads here and was wondering if any of you have answers or heard anything in the pipeline.
1. Do you think they will offer other dash gauge displays as updates down the road?
2. How good is MB at firmware/software updates to enhance auto pilot drivability?

Not entirely sure what you mean by the first question but general firmware updates to correct issues have been pretty good in my experience. I've got a very early w213 and its had various updates which have improved comand, blind spot assist, headlights (multibeam functionality) and short range radar.
I don't, however, believe they'll ever update drive pilot other than to correct safety issues. And don't confuse safety issues with general operability issues like steering assist isn't good enough to go to sleep with! What we have we are stuck with.

Im talking about the 3 different "looks" of the instrument cluster. The classic, sport, and progressive. It would be nice to see more options. Don't you agree?

Oh absolutely. No reason they couldn't I guess. But I won't hold my breath. Bound to happen in future cars though.
Given the car is connected and they have an app it would be great if they had downloadable content! Though there is bound to be laws governing visibility of instrumentation so it's probably never going to let us have really wacky designs. Would love something steam punk inspired though.
