2017 eclass 220 d estate software issues?
My eclass was registerd in March and has 5000 miles on the clock. For the last couple of weeks after 15- 60 mins driving I get a message saying Brake Assist/ESP not functioning. At the same time I lose cruise control and limiter.Very sporadic to begin with but now it's happening several times a day. Finding it difficult to get to the dealership before the end of the month. Any ideas?

Nothing I've heard of before. I have a 220d from last year {otherwise known as beta test year!} and whilst I've had various software and control unit issues I've had no problems with that. I've heard of grounding/shorting issues with other parts of the car, sporadic issue like that sounds sensor/wiring related so could be similar. Good luck getting it sorted.
Mines going back next week as the steering column motor has failed in the most upright position and the rear suspension feels off. Not the most reliable of cars unfortunately (I had a w212 e300 hybrid which was utterly fault free but experience with this car, if it continues like this, makes me think I'll give Merc a wide berth next time) .
