Does anyone know if surround view is available as a stand alone option or only with the Premium 3 package?

AFAIK it is only available with the P3, unfortunately.

This is a bummer for me as I have grown attached to the feature in my C450. Right now I am between an E400 Coupe and an E43 and it looks like I will be going without it due to it only being part of P3.

As cool as some of the tech in P3 is, I just don't see myself using it beyond the novelty factor. It would be hard to swallow the extra cost for the surround view.

I read about a third party surround view add on. Cost was a couple of thousand US$ installed

We do have 360 surround view system for W213 E-Class.
