On the new configurator, the multi contour seat option requires the warmth and comfort package. My car was built in the system with the multi contour and the only requirement was the rapid heated seats. I wonder if it will show up with the warmth and comfort package (which includes heated steering wheel, armrests and console) or if it's just an error on the site.

I am guessing it is an error on the site. I noticed a similar error on the E400 coupe configurator. It will not allow a car to be configured with the AMG package and black leather unless it is the black designo leather package. As cars are now arriving at dealers and there are many pictures online of in stock coupes, it is clear that the AMG package is available with the standard black leather.

Noticed the same thing. Previously, the rapid heating seats (and massaging seats) were part of P2 and P3. Now they are forcing the warmth and heating package on those who want the massaging seat option.

That's why I did not order active multi-contour massaging seats for a total cost of $2370.
That's way too expensive when all I wanted was just the multi-contour part.

The DOG and my build sheet only required the rapid heating option at $450, for a total of $1770..

I recall that number as well. I believe that the packages may have changed.

Yeah looks like you need leather and the warmth package now to get the multicontour. Makes me glad I got a 2017... those seats are amazing but i didn't want leather and would not have paid this much to get them!

Just tried it again, it's not requiring leather but is requiring the warmth package
