Run Flat Tires
My car came with Pirelli P7's. Thanks to Irma the streets are littered with debris. A roofing nail got my tire in a normally repairable area. Because Pirelli does not recommend repairs, the tire with 100 miles on it had to be replaced. My dealer agreed to give me a free replacement tire, but it had to be ordered. Great for a Friday afternoon. Fortunately they gave me a loaner. My car is promised for tomorrow.
UPDATE -
The car was delivered at 8 am Saturday. The bill was zero and marked "Courtesy of MBUSA."

im at 6/32 f and 5/32 rear. Not sure I will make it through fall weather let alone winter. I'm happy I got 15k out of them my bet was 10k. Expensive of course. Thinking conventional tires with new wheels and plus one size to 20's.
