wireless charger saves me some money for the Apple accessory. but I don't know if wireless chargers support all the iPhone.

I'll know soon [hopefully], but supposedly for the 2019's, they made the charging mat area larger to accommodate your size phone. I have Xs Max and hope it fits. But if it doesn't, the USB plug works fine.

Just picked up a 2019 e450 wagon and have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. So far, charging is intermittent on the pad. The width is fine but the length seems short by a couple millimeters. However, I hadn't though to spin it around 180 deg. I'll do so tonight and see if the magnets are able to hold a charge better in that direction.

WIRELESS CHARGING USELESS WHEN USING CARPLAY.
Now that we can use Google Maps and Waze in Carplay, I've started using it in my 2018 E300, rendering QI Wireless Charging useless because we don't have Wireless CarPlay in our cars, which is a shame.

[RQUOTE=ua549;7270336]I use the MB nav because it is full screen and is adequate.
Android Auto uses only half the screen and the other half goes to waste.[/QUOTE]
I agree that Android auto does need to support our resolution, but the overall functionality is just so much better in my estimation .

This. The resolution is laughable, but that's surely on Google. However, Google Maps is just so much better at route optimization than TomTom. So, I only use the OEM nav when I know there's unlikely to be traffic, which in NYC is like never.
