Heads Up Display
The manual does not seem to give clear instructions.
Can anyone help with this ?
Thanks
It was ordered from the factory as part of the 'Technology Package'.
I since learned that as of early October, the Heads Up Display is no longer available til further notice.
My E43 was built without it.....
You seem to be saying its a great option to have had.
But what can I do now ?
I only found out the HUD was not on the vehicle two days after I took delivery.
It was delivered last week Tuesday.

Anyway, she complained to the dealership/sales manager and after 3 phone calls and forwarding emails that clearly backed up her claims, they gave her a check for $1200 plus window tinting (They normally charge $500 for that).
I picked up my 2017 E300 in June as well (same sales guy) and we both were very disappointed in the experience with MB. She has been driving BMW's for 20 years and I have been with Audi and BMW. First MB for both of us.
I hope this gives you a point of reference.
Good luck.

I ordered my car in September of 2016 and didn’t take delivery until April of 2017 and to my surprise my loaded E43 had no Pano roof.
To say I was pissed off and disappointed is an understatement but my dealer took care of me. With a black on black car the Pano is critical to me as it makes the cars interior much brighter.
After having Pano roofs since 2009 this car felt a little cloister phobic...I went with lighter tint on the windows and just learned to deal without it.
But it does suck big time as the dealers should communicate these issues to the customers beforehand instead of pretending they are just as surprised as we were...just saying!
Not exactly. I've had 2 cars with correct build sheets that had "during assembly" changes made to the configuration due to lack of parts. The changes showed up as substitution credits on the Monroney label. Both times I rejected delivery and got a full refund.
