I don't understand why some trim colors cover both the dash area and center console areas, like it should. And others, like above, leave a freaking black console area when the buyer obviously wanted brown wood. Seems stupid. Just wanted to know if there's a way or requires a special order to make both the same material. Don't trust the configurator. Oh, and another such issue: some cars with the AMG line have a flat-bottom wheel and others don't; that's crazy. Same question: How can you check you'd get your car the way it's supposed to come? Thx.

Burl walnut, required for a wood & leather steering wheel, is the only wood without a matching center console piece. There is no special order process available. I tried it. Your sales agent can provide detailed factory order information. Once you have a VIN you can check the car's data card that shows the build details.
