2017 E300 Engine/Transmission/Electronic Issues

Has anybody had transmission issues with their W213 E300 4Matic? My car has had to be flat towed to the dealer three times now. Transmission malfunction pops on the instrument cluster screen and car is bricked, won't engage into any gear except neutral or park. Transmission is also very jolty, goes to high RPMs and then forcefully jolts into the next gear. It also does a lot of gear searching, when I'm going up a hill theres times where the transmission won't shift into a lower gear. Car also makes a whistling noise while coasting, and the engine has got progressively louder over past few months and cabin has totally lost the quiet ambiance as a result. Makes loud grinding/rattling noise when manually downshifting when going down a hill. Dealership did nothing to the car the first time car was towed said they were going to replace control module, ended up not doing that and clearing code; second time car was at dealership for 2 weeks and they ordered module from Germany and replaced it; third time full transmission replacement. The car has been down to the dealer several times for this issue, in which they claim to not be able to replicate so I started a claim with MBUSA who have declined to purchase vehicle back. Has anybody else had these issues, and if so what was the resolve? None of the loaner vehicles I've had have had these problems and I'd very much like a lasting resolution or a new vehicle from the manufacturer. This is second lemon Mercedes I've owned.

I get the occasional awkward shift, but nothing like what you are describing. Any chance there is a different dealer close by that you could work with?

Yes, I live in the North East so dealers are a dime a dozen but I don't want to start a relationship with a new dealer on bad terms like this so its a rough decision to make. At this point I have filed a BBB complaint which I don't expect to gain me much ground and am exploring litigation options. The car sounds entirely out of character and cabin is very noisy from engine being very noisy which I've reported and have sent in videos to my dealer and MBUSA and have been ignored by them both.
