2017 E300
Service A warning message

I brought my 2017 E300 last June and unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to put many miles on it...currently at about 1,200 miles. The other day I saw a message come up on the console stating I need to get a "Service A done in 24 days". I looked in the manual and it says that Service A is either 10k/1year whatever comes first and saw that the oil change is part of the service. Since I have less the 10k on the car, should I do a Service A or should I wait till I hit the 10k even though it might be over the 1 year mark.

thanks!

.
Follow the service spec 10k or 1 year whichever comes first. The additives in oil, natural or synthetic, degrade because of time, not miles.
