Pirelli tires on E400 sedan
Anybody having issues with the Pirelli tires? With 2400 miles one tire developed a bubble in the sidewall. Tire had to be replaced. Dealer did it as a good will replacement since a bubble is not a manufacturing defect..

I'm surprised the dealer didn't claim the balloon was caused by a large pothole or curb.

Pirelli does not recommend repairs to rft products and tire shops in my area won't repair an otherwise repairable puncture. I've had Pirelli's replaced by the dealer for free as well. Let's hope they keep up the goodwill.
