One of the many things that impressed me on my test drive was the polite voice in navi mode. "Please prepare to turn right" was often used.
I only hear it a few times while driving, is there a setting for this? Or is it random?

I think it is random. I used to hear it when I first got my E300 but lately I have not noticed Sophia (yes, my E300 has a name) saying please.

if I put the car in Dutch the gps lady keeps saying "please" (alstublieft) after every sentence. Drives me Nuts.
My French gps lady is much less formal lol
