2019 E450 Cabriolet, 2020 GLS450

hey... kind of a dumb question. My dealer called me today and told me my MY2019 E450 Cabriolet is now B3 and locked with no changes possible. He said the system now says a production date of June 20 (did not have a date until today when it went B3)

is the production date the day it starts production or the day the car is finished with production? Just curious.
