Angry W213 Drive Pilot Camera Lines

Hi,

I was unfortunate enough to have picked up a chip on my windscreen, it was bigger than a £2 coin so Autoglass had to replace it. It was replaced with an OEM part from MB, after the replacement I have noticed that there were some orange lines in front of the cameras for Drive pilot which aren't on the replacement screen. I am wondering if anyone else who has a w213 with drive pilot has these lines as I am worried this maybe an issue, I have noticed that lane keep assist is not as accurate as it was before screen change but I have no benchmark to check against.

Did you have the screen calibrated afterwards (can't imagine a firm like Autoglass wouldn't) but it has to b the most obvious explanation?

We also just took a rock to the windshield and are getting a OEM replacement this week. After the replacement you need to bring the car to a local MB dealer and have them perform a recalibration. Basically they drive it up onto a jig and hook it to a computer and it auto calibrates for a couple hours. This is why your system is malfunctioning.
