My E300 came with the Fireside Mood. Haven't smelled it once coming through the vents since having the car since January. Just got my car back from the dealership and they state that it is working as designed. Drove around in it at least an hour today and still no smell whatsoever.

I am wondering if the Fireside Mood is much harder to notice??? just ran out of other ideas at the moment.

Freeside Mood came with my E400S. Its sort of like a mens aftershave; not subtle and you know when the system is turned on, even at low setting. Scent is only dispensed when the AC is in automatic mode. Ignore the trolls who will make inane comments about the system. Its better than an airwick!
