Auto Sharp Pens for Paint Retouch

The MBWorld article about the W213 exterior and paints recommends the Auto Sharp Pens.
I have looked on line searches and cannot find them. Amazon.com list them as unavailable and the one bad review says he never got the product even after speaking to their customer service department. There is a thread in the W211 forum about the pens but not a glowing rview.
The pen sounds like a great idea. Has anyone found the product and used it?

I would say if they were really good people would buy them and from my search after your post, I found the same thing. They aren't available and one guy got his money back. The only thing I've ever used as touch up on any MB car I've ever owned is actual Mercedes Benz Touch Up paint from the parts department at the Mercedes dealer. I just usually don't use the paint brush. Most dings are caused by road rubble, so for them a tooth pick dipped into the bottle does a great job.

The tooth pick trick works. Most of the time if you use the brush from the paint bottle you put a glob of paint on the tiny blemish, which can often look worse.

My drivers' door was keyed around nine years ago and I touched it up using the touch up pen. It took me around two hours, but it still looks great. The product is no longer available, however. I would use the original paint stick but use a brush that is thinner than that which comes with it.

When I get a chip on my new MB, I may give this a try. I've watched a few video's and if they are to be believed, this is a pretty good solution and the color is precisely matched to the color on your car.

A trick a detailer once told me is to remove a match from a book of matches (not sticks) and with scissors cut the end at a diagonal appropriate for the blemish. Works well enough.
