I don't have an AMG yet but plan on ordering one (E53) soon. Just to confirm though... Ordering an AMG car with PE includes a console mounted switch (pic below) where driver can toggle from standard sound to performance sound at any time?
And, does selecting Dynamic/Sport + mode automatically switch PE on or can it still be over ridden by the toggle switch?

yes to all. you can turn it on or off at any time with the console button.
