That's great news. A lot faster from ordered to built than my car for sure. Now the wait for it to be assigned a ship and the 2.5 week cruise across the big pond. At least while it's on the water, you can track your car yourself.

Now with this, as long as the ship is near enough to land you can track it as it sends signals to land receivers. Once it's in the Celtic Sea on its way into the Atlantic Ocean, you won't see any updates again until it's near the East Coast. You can purchase a Satellite access package, but I decided for this one voyage, I wasn't willing to pay to get instant updates. It was well over a week where there were no updates. Then all of sudden, the ship showed up again once it got close to the US.

Oh yeah, I am so excited. I'm about to go to the dealer now to drive that 300 to just confirm that it meets my needs The more I think about it, I am pretty sure it does but just need my mind at peace about it..
I also sent my Salesman, the Netstar codes that you posted to make sure he knows how to give me proper updates, lol.

Last week received the following email from my dealer:
"vehicle is almost at VPC. Looks like it should be ready for delivery early December."
The lease on my 2016 E350 ends on December 30. This delivery, end of December should work out just fine.
Now all I need is a few "End of Year" and/or "Winter Sales Event" specials to further reduce the price!

Dealer called today and advised car is ready for pick up.
10 weeks from order to delivery. I think this is quite reasonable.
The lease on my 2016 E 350 4matic ends on December 30. The lease payment is $632 vs. $899 on the 2019 E450 4matic. Even though I can get back the December payment of $632, I have decided to wait until December 27 to pick up my new car.
I know some of you even track the ship your car is on and rush to the dealer to see your car before it is even prepped.
I am not that fanatic and I save $250 by waiting 3 weeks! Actually there is nothing wrong with my E350 which I still enjoy driving.
I guess I am the opposite of OCD.
I see the "Winter Sales Event" has been extended to Jan 2, 2019. However, these deals only apply to financing and leasing.
Does anyone know of any cash incentives?
Thanks.

There's a difference between OCD and impatient. I suffer from both, with Impatience taking a higher precedent over OCD (though in my case both are pretty strong). There's simply no way in Hello I could let my new car sit there for three weeks to save a couple hundred dollars. That is of course me and you're likely happier and better adjusted than me!!

I'm glad your new car is ready! How you have the will, patience, etc. to wait three weeks to pick it up...well you are far better in that regard than I am. Looking forward to your thoughts and pics when you do pick it up.
