Car wash and leather cleaner
Hi. Wondering what the experienced folks here use to wash their cars and clean the leather?
have Nappa leather in my E450 cab. Want to make sure it lasts a very long time.

For the exterior I use Chemical Guys products, easily found on their own website and Amazon. I also use Lexol cleaner and conditioner for the leather. For the dash and other vinyl I use Aerospace 303 matte finish.

I use Griot's Leather 3-in-1 with excellent results.

I used zaino z9 and z10 for the interior leather seats. Exterior unfortunately most of the time have to use a touchless wash since it’s illegal to wash your own car in your driveway or I get it detailed from someone once a year. I don’t let the dealership wash it when they service it since the people drying it use the same dirty cloth the whole day which swirls the paint

Griots interior cleaner too. Amazing stuff!
Its kinda like soapy water, it leaves a residue if you use it and leave it on, so do have a wet microfiber to wipe down the leather again.

Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner with a micro-fiber cloth and some elbow grease. Works getting the blue stain from my jeans off from the beige seats on my vehicle.

My E300 is a month old and I applied CarPro CQ.UK 3.0 to the exterior. It was easy to apply on a new paint as I did not have to clay bar the car. I also used the Reload that came in the kit I bought on ebay. CQ is good for 2+ years and Reload is an extender that is good for 6 months or so. It rained yesterday and the water just blew off the hood as I was driving. You are putting a 2 to 3 micro thick layer of Silicon dioxide on the paint which is very hydrophobic.

I also applied CQ to the black plastic console as it has scratch resistant properties. That plastic is just waiting for something to be placed on it. Go to youtube and watch some of the videos for more info, amazing product.
