E300 W213 Intake Options
Hi does anyone have any recommendations for intake options for the 2018 E 300 W213? I am looking at all the available options and from what I know there is only two and TBH I am not fully sure that they will fit?
We have the Burger motorsport intake and the ArmaSpeed CF intakes is that it?
If so any actual performance gains from either?

Years ago I would put an intake on or do a drop in KN but nowadays I don’t know if they actually improve performance
The intakes before made a BIG difference but for this car, I honestly don’t think it would do anything

I guess you are probably right. Especially with these new modern cars the ECU may not allow "more HP" until an actual tune. It was not the case with my G35 and the dual intake that got me 10WHP when I dynoed without a tune.
But going back to the W213 motors I would really like to see companies using some R&D and making some quality stuff that's a little bit more than just for looks. I guess it's too bad, especially for a FI car, should be extremely easy to make power with.

I love G's they are sweet. A friend of mine in highschool, when the G35 first came out got a brand new ~2005 G35t from the factory with the big wheels, spoiler. Man that was one of the coolest cars at the time. It was when the Fast and the Furious movies were still popular. His car pulled up and the sound and styling was so new at the time. G35's always have a special place in my heart LOL. But yes the G will greatly benefit from just an intake, downpipe and tune. It completely changes the car.
Nowadays the modes (C, S, S+) dramatically change the car. In Sport mode I can have the car at 45-50mph and have instant throttle response. Essentially the modes are a mini tune. Its changes the mapping and dynamics.
Even if an intake was available it wouldn't be worth $300 for what you get. Unless your already modifying the rest of the car then sure why not.
