Howdy howdy howdy...
My first MB car!. I’ve owned a MB 33K GVW commercial truck, but now I guess you can now say I’ve downsized
i shopped for about a Month, mostly Internet peeping. I inked this deal yesterday (Sat 11/3/18). She’s a 2016 E250 Bluetec 4Matic. All packages included black on black, 23K mi. Drove her home 340 miles yesterday...we got a motel midway and celebrated... all smiles. She drives so smooth and she feels planted in the lane w no road vibration and the steering wheel feels very isolated from the road. I’m sure I’ll be visiting here quite often! Thanks community!

Nice looks good. Just so you're aware that is the 212 platform being a 2016, this is the 213 platform forums, you'd want the 212 forums just incase you have any questions or concerns with the car. These forums are 2017 and up.

Thanks guys, I’m really loving the luxury car world, and this car is a real beauty. Just snapped these pics 60 min ago (she’s now sleeping in a garage bay).
It really has blown me away with the fuel mileage. Granted, Diesel is about 10% higher here than 87 octane, but forget about that, this cat is blowing away my Cadillac CTS numbers twice over!... and, I had to use higher, more expensive octane in that also... so close to a trade off; fuel purchase cost anyways.
averaging 42.8 since dealer delivery.... it was 47.7 until I started to do more in town driving. Just insane, and I wasn’t going to boast too much until I went to my local pumps to top off; about 20 mins ago. It agreed to the calculator. I’m floored tbh.
I do have a few cons...
—The Eco on button by default. I know, it’s a popular gripe and a bad subject here.
—The command system is a bit clunky.
—I want the TPMS on the same rolling control screen as other popular speedo visuals. I.e. digital speedo, mileage screens etc. a scroll into this display would be very convent and cool.
I called my local MB dealer about possibly updating my command so I can have Android Auto. Dealer was clueless. My car was made after the Jan. Build date in ‘16 and as I understand it the comand should be able to be updated to do Apple Car Play and Android Auto. My ‘17 F350 pickup has this and I really love using it like for Waze, and an easy instant Pandora also.
okay, don’t take the above as griping. No way, I’m thrrilled and my wife as well, she keeps bugging me for the FOB, lol.
