Sold my C207, got a family car back
just lowered it with H&R lowering springs.
now looking for 20” rims, AMG, Vossen or Brabus. Suggestions are welcome
I have the same vehicle and was wondering seeing that we have air suspension how does that work with the springs ? Does your car still lower and raise with the function etc ?
Mine has shocks and springs, no air suspension.
I ordered the H&R lowering springs, for your vehicle you need an airmatic programming module, or clamps to fool the airsuspension zero position offset
ThnX, from the dealer, had a good deal trading in my BRABUS Monoblock Q’s
20” with Pirelli Zero MO RF is a match in heaven, so much more grip and comfort than those ****ty Goodyear Eagle F1 MO RF plastic tires, those were for sure the most crappy tires I’ve EVER had under a Merc.
Overall I’m very happy how all the mods turned out. It’s cosmetically now an e43, except for the rear lip, which is still on the list. All the rest on my list has been done now.
Love the lowered look! How is your camber? Did you check your alignment or get a camber kit? Without a camber kit on my Infiniti I was replacing tires every 8-10k miles.
i did 30k km on the stock shocks with H&R springs, inside corner totally schredded till the metal.
today they realigned, but as camber itself is not adjustable they already warned me it would not be 100%, they said it was a bit better though, let’s see.

the BRABUS Monoblock R’s 20” will follow by end of the month.
my current AMG 20” will then go on sale.
