Already a recall for 2019 vehicles
It seems Mercedes-Benz recalls model year 2019 vehicles with potential powertrain issue. Recalling 119 model year 2019 Mercedes-Benz C300s, C300 4Matics, C300 4Matic Cabrios, C300 4Matic Coupes, C300 Coupes, C300 Cabrios, C43 AMGs, C43 AMG Cabrios, C43 AMG Coupes, CLS450s, CLS450 4Matics, CLS53 AMG 4Matics, E53 AMG 4Matics, E450 4Matics, E450 4Matic Coupes, E53 AMG 4Matic Coupes, G550s, and G63 AMGs.

I am scheduled to get my 2019 E 450 4matic end of December so I will make sure this is taken care of.
Here is the procedure, which doesn't seem like much:
"MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will update the CPC control unit software, free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin December 28, 2018.
Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372."

I wonder why all the E-Class E450 4-Matics are listed except the Cabriolet? Seems odd since it’s an engine controller and they all use the same engine. And the Coupe is listed. The Cab and Coupe are nearly the same car.

You can go to MBUSA.com and at the bottom of the page is a check for recall option. Enter your VIN and do a captcha challenge to verify. I imagine since they know the total number of cars is 119, if your car is included, it would let you know. A check with my VIN and it said there are no recalls for my car.
