Enabling CarPlay on e220d
Hi. I have a mid-2017 Mercedes E220d (W213).
The datacard has this on it :522 AUDIO 20 RADIO NAVIGATION CAPABLE NTG5
I was wondering if anyone has had any success in enabling CarPlay on this model. I see a lot of people offering those plugin devices which are supposed to enable carplay - but I am not sure if they work, or will end up doing more damage than good.

If the car is CarPlay enabled, the option will be available when you plug in an iPhone (by cable only, Bluetooth will not work...)
If you look inside the storage area between the seats, you’ll see a marked up USB slot.
