I'm considering this. Looks like 67 extra HP for the top of the line model. Looks like a easy install and won't void the warranty. https://www.racechip.us/shop/mercede...-369lb-ft.html

Racechip? Sounds like my bag of Lay's should be able to get into my mouth a lot faster when I am sitting on the couch.

I used the googles to lookup posts from other enthusiasts about this and their experience with it. Does not sound promising. -

caused excessive knocking. Destroyed my engine when my car was 15 months old.

Hello everyone,
So I have had a little more time to toy with this. I filled up 93 today to see if this makes any difference. I honestly have to say that I can not see any perceivable difference.

I installed the ultimate racechip professionally and I didn't feel any noticeable differences. I tested it with an identical m5 (But stock) and there was absolutely no power difference. I spoke to the support and addressed my concerns and they seem to think it's either a. A problem with the installation or B. A fault with the device.

Everything I come up with sounds not too promising. I believe AMR claims an extra 100 hp, I the OE claims only an extra 50 HP. AMR is just plain more money than I want to spend. OE still does not offer the hand held tuner yet for the E450's. I guess it's something that's just gonna have to wait.

E450 with Racechip

Yes.........I bought the Racechip for the second time. 1st time on my 2018 E400 coupe. A snap to install and remove.

However, the 2021 E450 is altogether a different beast. After several failed attempts at installing (the diagram sent was not
for the new inline 6). As it turns out, the connection points are under some significant hardware. Not for the amateur.
Luckily I know someone at Mercedes who will be able to install for me. Just be aware you will not be able to do yourself
unless you are a mechanic. I anticipate a great surge of torque (91 lbs to be exact) to an already smooth acceleration.

Highly recommend installing the XLR throttle chip as well. Makes even the stock set-up much more responsive.

Good luck.
