I got the same email. Not impressed. Mercedes me has been flakey for months. We have had cars made by two other companies (Japanese and US) with zero network problems. For Mercedes me the best or nothing is closer to the latter, but the car is still good otherwise.

Wouldn’t it be a nice gesture of good will to extend our free subscriptions for another year considering all the frustration with the app not working consistently? Rather than an email saying you are working on problems let us know timeframe and then show your customers you care! |

I got this too. The ap is horrible. It never remote starts my car and is slow. Really a shame because I live in the middle of DC and most people here including myself don't have a garage. Mornings suck taking my one year old in a cold car!

There's an update for Mercedes Me (not Me Connect) which specifically says it addresses the outage with Remote Start. This only applies to 2018 or earlier cars. Perhaps a Me Connect update is forthcoming?

Yeeeep. And a new version for IOS came out today. I downloaded it in hopes of being able to now remote start my car? Nope, and to add to the duffed up part, now the locate my car doesnt work. Its like a middle schooler thats in charge of the development of this app. I mean cant MB even hire an high school student they can probably get it going in a few hours.

I do not see a Mercedes me update on Play Store. The last update I got the week before last was V2.4.4 - #278eb2e. What is the new version?

It's an iOS update, so that may be why you don't see one in the Play Store. The new version is 2.4.6
|
I'll look for it soon. (I keep automatic updates disabled.)

With iOS I have automatic updates enabled, but I find I still have to check for updates and push them through anyway.

My android device has version 2.12.1 currently installed with no updates available. It was last updated on the 23rd Jan 2019.

I just received an update from the App Store for iPhone IOS and Mercedes Me. Version is 55a273fc

I got that email too but I was also asked which of the ME app features I used the most, ie remote start, valet etc. and rate them in order of importance. I didn't' respond because I had the feeling they wanted to how much extra we were willing to pay for the feature's we collectively liked the most.

I did not get a survey with the email. Wonder how they selected participants?

Why do they even need participants? Can't they tell which features we have actually used? Maybe they should be asking which features were most important to you?
