How do I get a data tariff?
Everytime I try to use the connect features on my E300 I am told that I need a data tariff through Mercedes Me Connect. Does anyone know how I go about getting one?

Mercedes me connect customer service gave me the phone number of AT&T and now I am on the phone with them. The rep is telling me that I have to get a 3rd party device from them and subscribe to use these internet features. What happened to my free trial?

Best way to get it is through the MB Me Connect Portal. Go to "internet in the car" which is towards the bottom of all the functions which are listed ie, remote services, etc. and click on "load data volume" and follow the instructions. Best not to talk to ATT, most of them don't know what they are talking about with this kind of thing, I called them originally and it was a big waste of time.

Interestingly different approach in UK. You need to log onto wi-fi hotspot in car and then direct mibike device to Vodafone in order to register and sign up a data tariff.
It is not possible to register and set up a tariff for the first time via the portal.
