e43 20' wheels for e220d

Hi there,
does anyone got e43’s 20' wheels on non-AMG ride? I just bought them and front wheels barely fit into the fender. Is that standard? Does e43 have wider fenders than standard w213? ona big bumpys front the wheels are rubbing the fenders.i have additionally 776 Extended track width for AMG, maybe thats the problem? is is kind of spacers, which are able to demount? Thanks in advance

Bodies are the same, offset differs by 20mm.

Please, clarify what you mean by the above. What is "776"? Do you mean E43 front wheels' (that you put on) offset is et20 vs. your current E220d original wheels' offset of et43? Or is it something else? As Vic stated above, all front fenders (except E63) are identical (or should be, since p/n is the same).

I'm glad you brought up this subject. The reason I'm saying that is there's no way I can fit 20x8 et20 with 245/35-20 on front of my E450 without some poke. I am not lowered. I remember someone in earlier threads with E43 AMG car, E43 is lower than non-AMG, said that he can even use upto 15mm spacers on front (et5? really?). Something does not add up. Unless E43 being lower (by how much?) allows for much lower front offset without rubbing with identical front fenders as non-E43 Es.

SA 776 is nothing more than two small plastic "mud guard" flaps on the rear wheel arches.

Ok, thanks. Then its not related to OP's issues upfront.

Vic, do you have any info on why 8" et20 front wheels on E43/E53 have as much room (meaning enough room to be pushed 15mm outboards, as one E43 owner has claimed) as 8" et43 front wheels on E300/400/450? Considering fenders are the same, it makes no sense.

E43/53 are lower, but not enough to hide 23mm offset difference. As you may remember from another thread, I'm not lowered, and 8.5" et30 (it translates to 8" et24 max, while above mentioned E43 owners was claiming to have added 15mm spacers for et5) is max I can do upfront without poke (with 8.5" et18 I tried, poke was 12mm).
