I have a 2019 E450 Luxury edition due in late June.

I chose the Luxury edition for several reasons, but am not a fan of the upright hood emblem.

I've heard that that emblem can be replaced with the other, flush type emblem.

Any word on this?

I am not entirely sure what the question is? Yes you can replace the luxury emblem to the sport emblem. It screws on from underneath.

I always liked mine and miss it.....sometimes. Like when I was able to do this to it.

Pretty much any flat badge should fit. That hood emblem they haven't changed in years so it fits many car models.

Also if you have a flat badge you can also swap it for the hood emblem.
