I think the MB tex is more durable than any of the leathers. I have MB tex in my wagon and it's holding up much better than the top of the line nappa leather in my S class S560. I've had to put seat covers in that car.

MB Tex has a history of cracking, splitting and stitching coming apart. Quite a few recent cases actually. Some are getting it covered under warranty, but others are getting blown off. You may not even notice that it's cracked as the cracks can be quite fine and you have to look for them.
