Antenna/radio reception.
I know that FM radio is so 2018...LOL...but I still enjoy it for sports, and I notice that the reception in my '17 E300 is poorer than my '13 E350 and my previous Audis.
Could this be due to a lack of an external antenna, anyone else experiencing this?

Just my observations:
I use Sirius but love to listen to the NY Mets (no comment here - I know I am glutton for punishment). They are broadcast on FM 880 HD #2 and the sound and reception are quite good.

If they have not already done so have dealer check antenna amplifier (part # 2139057000) and filter (2138201489) in right c-pillar under warranty.

I use SiriuxXM the most, but here in sunny Tampa, FL., I also listen to the classical station on HD radio and it's quite good. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with FM reception in either the E400 or E450, tbh.

FM radio is working for me; but Sirus XM is crap for me. It cuts out constantly in certain areas of States. I had my dealership replace the antenna but no change. I had a loaner E class and their Sirus XM radio worked in the areas my car hasn't. The Sirus XM radio is one of the only issue I have with my car.

Both Sirius and FM work fine in my area of states. I like having no stupid fins.

my car is in the shop again for some other sh*t (really never had this much trouble with any of my previous cars)
they gave me a GLA loaner with which i easily get around 14 stations outside of town, to only about 5 with my own car...

My radio was replaced to fix another problem (car could not register my voice commands + on hands-free people could hardly hear me)
This also fixed the bad reception; i went from 3 stations on average to well over 30
