Question about the Active Speed Limit Assist option

Do you need the Active Speed Limit Assist option to display the speed limit in the navigation screen and the digital gauge cluster? My W213 does not have the Drivers Assistance Package and therefore, does not have the Speed Limit Assist.

I'm not sure if you just want it on the MB map screen but use the Waze app and then it will show up. I also use Apple maps sometimes and it shows up in there but very seldom. Obviously neither show up in the cluster but it will get it on a navigation screen. Just a thougt. Good luck.

Correct if you use Apple carplay then you can have the posted speed limit displayed on various supported apps like Waze or Google Maps.

I didn’t think speed limit showed up on Google Maps? Will check. I know it shows when using Apple Maps on CarPlay.

I don't have the Drivers Assistance package but the speed limit is displayed on both screens for me.

I think that “Active Speed limit assist” refers to SETTING the active cruise control to the current speed limit, not so much DISPLAYING what the speed limit is....
