I have used Rain-X windshield treatment for years without any issue with the wipers.

I do not use the Rain-X windshield fluid in the reservoir.

And probably 6-8 weeks in transit as well as sitting outside at the prep center. My '18 model was aboard ship for 4 weeks and sat outside at Brunswick for 10 days. It was anything but clean when I first saw it still on the truck in Clearwater.
