Trunk Debadging Recommendations in the Northeast
Hi, I am looking for recommendations to have someone debadge my trunk emblems.
Remove chrome lettering and the three pointed star and replace it with black ones.
I used to do this myself on all my previous cars but with the E I dont want to mess anything up, even after watching all the YouTube videos that provide same exact instructions.![wall](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
Does anyone have any recommendations for shops in the Northeast that does a good job? Or even if any of the forum members would want to lend me a hand for a few hours?![Cheers](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)
I am located in central CT but I don't mind traveling to NY NJ or MA. ( I love driving my car )
Lastly I guess I can try the MB dealer but I dont trust them as much as any shop or even a car enthusiast.
TIA

If you’ve done it before, I’d expect you have more confidence in just how easy it is to do the letters. I’ve done it myself on my W212 and it was easier than I expected. I’m lazy, so I let my detail shop do it on my S213 while I had it in for PPF and ceramic coating. The excess the emblem. That piece I’ve not done yet, but I understand it’s not attached with double sided tape and there are actual holes in the trunk. I’m planning on doing that one as well, but debating ordering another badge ahead of time in case I bend it in the process of removal.

Thanks for the replies. I did contact my local wrap shop that worked on my car and they said they will be able to get it the trunk emblems swapped out for gloss black ones.
