17 E400 Wagon Command/CarPlay Question/Bug?
So when I get in the car I connect my iPhone 7S and CarPlay opens. I last had my radio on Sirius and that starts airing.
The CarPlay menu appears on the screen in the car and I select Maps.
I am driving along and am stopped at a light and pick up my phone and tap on my email icon on my home page or any other icon on my phone and when I do the radio stops and the apple maps nav goes away.
Is that what is supposed to happen?
When I close whatever I had opened on my phone it does not go back to CarPlay.
I never had CarPlay before and this is counterintuitive to me.
I am used to using Command Nav/Phone and if I did something on my phone it did not interface with what was happening on the screen.
