A passenger opened my left passenger door today and hit it into a low fixing which bent in the trim at the upper corner of the door ( see attached )
I have bent it back but the trim is not straight and will likely never be straight without some expertise that I do not have.
Although the issue is only cosmetic, it does bother me and I would consider replacing it if it's a quick and easy job.
Does anyone know how easy the upper trim is to replace on a W213 ?. Is it clipped in or glued in? I definitely don't want to replace it if it's glued and will require a technician to take my door to bits but if it's a simple job that can be done when I take my car in for the first service, I will do it.
Carefully un-clip using plastic wedge I believe replacement part #s are: front left 2136909504, right 2136909604; rear 2136900580, 21369006801. PM or post VIN if you want confirmation.
